Wednesday 18th February at 2.00 pm, local historian John Burton will present a talk on Alison Evans, great niece of George Eliot, daughter of the Rector of Bedworth, Frederic Evans and is a story of 19th and early 20th century life in Bedworth seen through the eyes of young Alison. There will be light refreshments served, and all proceeds will go to the Mayor’s Appeal for the restoration of the Heritage Centre. 

Entry is £5 per person. a small fee for what promises to be a fascinating afternoon’s talk.
