On Wednesday 20th May at 2.00pm John Burton will be giving a talk on ‘Alison’s War’.

For 2 nights only at the Nuneaton Arts Centre, Pool Bank Street.

Local historian John Burton will present a talk on Alison Evans, great niece of George Eliot, daughter of the Rector of Bedworth, Frederic Evans and is a story of 19th and early 20th century life in Bedworth seen through the eyes of young Alison.

On Sunday, 8th February 2026, at noon, the Crossed Khukris restaurant is hosting a special Nepalese lunch in aid of the Mayor’s Appeal, overseen by Om Gurung MBE himself.

Rob Everitt, a Trustee of the Heritage Centre will be giving a talk on Charles Streather and the 216 Fortress Company.

On Saturday 2nd August the Coton Centre Trust will be running a tombola/bric a brac/allsorts stall in aid of the Mayor’s Appeal 2025 – 2026 which is for the Trust.

All proceeds from the table rents go to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal; whatever money you take is yours.

The Heritage Centre will be hosting a Craft Fayre from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
