The library at the Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre is free for visitors to use and offers a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history and heritage of Nuneaton and the surrounding area.
The Centre houses an extensive collection of local history books, maps, photographs and archives, including bound editions of local newspapers dating back to the 1800s.
Our collection also features works by well-known local authors and figures connected to the area, including Ken Loach, George Eliot and Rosie Goodwin, alongside many other local writers and historians. Whether you are researching family history, exploring the town’s development or simply looking to learn more about the local community, our knowledgeable trustees and friendly volunteers are always available to offer help and guidance
